Soothing. Caressing. Purifying.
Love will break your heart.
Love will heal your heart.
You’ll protect yourself.
You’ll disarm yourself.
Questions will haunt you.
Why me?
Why not me?
There will be no answers.
None are needed.
You’ll get played.
You’ll play the game.
And ultimately, when you find love again
You’ll realise it was always in you.
You didn’t have to go looking for it.
Wait for it. Invite it. Or even allow it.
You only needed to know you were it.
And you will have found love again.
Except… you’d.never.truly.lost.it.
